Our Flaws

Flaws are the intricate marks inflicted upon us by life’s journey, whether by deliberate actions or the whims of fate; they carry a profound depth within our existence. They manifest in various forms, some visibly etched upon our exterior, while others lurk beneath the surface, unseen but keenly felt.

The infliction is a testament to our vulnerability, a canvas upon which our sorrow paints poignant strokes. Yet, amidst the agony, there lies a paradox—a facade of strength, a mask of resilience that we adorn to shield ourselves from the world’s prying eyes. Human beings are capable of pulling wool over their faces in an attempt to cover up and measure up regardless.

Most of us have forgotten that a shared burden loses its weight as it is dispersed among the collective shoulders of companions. Though the chords of solidarity and friendships now falter, the once soothing balm of camaraderie can sometimes turn into a bitter elixir of mockery and ridicule these days. The reason why keeping the façade feels a lot better 

Words were once woven with the threads of connection, the same words are now used to undo the very fabric of our being, pulling the strings of our humanity to strain,  snapping under the weight of selfish desires and insatiable greed.

Our wounds bleed upon the surface and within the depths of our souls, dripping with the bitter bile of solitude and despair. Being alone in the crowd is a familiar scene these days. I hope that even as we struggle beneath the core of our beings, whispers of a cure are waiting to be found.

There is comfort In preserving our wounds within the confines of our hearts, safeguarding them until the elusive embrace of divine wisdom descends upon us, offering solace and healing to our shattered spirits.

Thus, we endure, our flaws serve as reminders of our shared humanity, our collective journey toward redemption and enlightenment. In accepting our imperfections and acknowledging our vulnerabilities, we find the courage to confront the intricacies of our existence and emerge stronger and wiser than ever.
