Many people experience procrastination, which has become a disease. Because of it, many have remained unproductive. Sadly, most are trying to escape this demon called procrastination but still find themselves going deep into it.  

Some have neglected some essential tasks because of procrastination. It has affected their overall well-being and performance. 

To manage and overcome procrastination, one must first understand its causes, which include anxiety and fear, distraction, poor time management, and others. 

Understanding these factors will motivate you to create strategies for managing and overcoming them. To overcome procrastination, set goals, break tasks into smaller units, and recognize the value in every task. This will help you stay positive and break free from procrastination.

For example, you may need help consistently performing a simple task like reading a novel. Instead of gearing toward thirty minutes per day and not meeting your goal, you may set a target goal of fifteen minutes. Doing that will help you create emotional achievement and build acceleration.

2. Manage Anxiety and Fear  

Always see value in each task given to you. When you remove fear and anxiety, you will experience success. You will see buoyant reasons for any project. Also, ensure you practice meditation to fight the internal factors and to be focused on your task. It will help you have self-confidence, relieve your mind, and help you concentrate.
